Third Party Interfaces

Introduction

Export data from EQuIS to many different modeling and analysis applications.  There are different ways of getting data to these "Third Party" (non-EQuIS) applications and ultimately interfacing with the applications themselves.  Some of the interfaces are connections within the third-party application, such as EQuIS for ArcGIS and EQuIS AutoCAD.  Others function as reports that simply export data out in a format the third party application will recognize, such as EQuIS for Google Earth. Still others may allow for both importing data from the third party application as well as exporting from EQuIS, like the EQuIS for gINT interface.

The focus of these exercises is how to use the third party interface, and NOT how to use the third party applications.

 

Many of the interfaces require that the third party application is also installed. Installation links and licensing of third party applications are not provided by EarthSoft and instead must be obtained through the vendor of the desired application. Below are a few links to vendor websites:
